The Sunshine Tour brings together more than 2,000 horses and 400 riders from 40 different countries during seven weeks of competition at the most important jumping tour in Europe. It is composed of four different Grand Prixes: the Andalucía Grand Prix, Diputación de Cádiz Grand Prix, Suzuki Grand Prix and the Longines Grand Prix.
With a CSI4* rating it is one of Europe’s toughest competitions where only a handful of riders advance to final rounds. In the Sunshine Tour they will have to demonstrate their stamina and adaptability to reach the outstanding speed of 400 meters per minute without faults.

During 5 weeks, the Sunshine Tour holds an exciting competition with a total of 2452 horses passing through its facilities, 734 riders and 50 different nationalities all together to celebrate this show in horse jumping. This first week includes the categories CSIYH* to CSI2*, and riders will be able to get a first impression of what competition will be like the following weeks.

The level is going up this second week of the Sunshine Tour 2020 edition as CSI3* incorporates to the equation. The Diputación de Cádiz Grand Prix has been designed by Louis Konickx and allows 77 seconds with 13 obstacles.

Welcome to the third week of the Sunshine Tour. We are getting hyped to see what Javier Trenor has prepared for us in the Junta de Andalucia Grand Prix as the CSI4* action begins, and with 400 young horses participating this time, action is secured. This is the last clear round for some riders to qualify for the Young Horse Finals held next week. Are you ready?
A surprising amount of horses have made an appearance in the fourth week of the CSI3* of the Sunshine Tour. As 153 horses jumped in the 1.50m, Big Tour D class, it had to be divided in two sections. All the other sections of the competition had incredible outcomes as Dutch rider Kim Emmen continues to dominate the 6yr old section.

The Equine America Grand Prix is one of the most demanding courses in the Andalucía Sunshine Tour. This year, from an initial field of 48, just five riders have managed to get through to the jump off with clear rounds, while the next five places were taken by riders who finished with time penalties.
Designed by Grégory Bodo and Alain Lhopital, this 1.55m show jumping course has the crowd go crazy in their seats. Are you going to miss out?

The CSI4* Suzuki Grand Prix is an emotional and exciting class. Horses jump as the crowd buzzes from the grades in a course designed by Santiago Varela. At the end of the first round, only 8 international riders got through to the jump off: Pénélope Leprevost, Cian O'Connor, Henk Van de Pol, Holly Smith, Pedro Junqueira, Laura Kraut, Marcel Marschall and Anthony Condon.
